Croatia

So Croatia has been on my list to visit for a while now, and I am lucky enough to have amazing friends who took me there for my Hen do. Croatia has loads of different islands and they all have different things to offer. We wanted somewhere a little lively so we went to the the "party" island itself Hvar. Not only is the island of Hvar beautiful with its clear blue waters it has a lot of history with its stunning buildings and marble streets.

On our second day we went to Bonj les bain hands down it was my favourite day. We had our own pontoon with a massive day bed our very own waiter serving us cocktails, food and cold towels. The pontoon had private stairs to get in and out of the sea. I can honestly say I am not a big fan of the sea as I get really scared of the unknown beneath me BUT with the water so crystal clear you couldn't get me out.  I am not going to lie it was quite expensive there, but I think it was totally worth it.

In the evening if we wasn't doing the typical hen do thing (drinking games, being loud and annoying) we would go to the harbour and have a delish dinner. I was going to name loads of restaurants to go to but the food was great everywhere.
By the harbour there are loads of bars and clubs to go to. My favourite club was carpe diem which is based on a small island, you have  to get a private boat to take you there. The club really reminded me of Ibiza with all the dancers and flame throwers! We only went there in the evening to the wee hours but you can chill and go in the day too. It is a must do if you go to Hvar.

Boat trip......!! again having the best hens ever they hired a private boat for the day to take us round the island. We went to see the blue caves which was amazing then we just sailed around island hopping and on our way back a pod of dolphins swam around our boat for about 15 minutes they jumped and played it was an amazing thing to see. We were so lucky to see it. definitely a lifetime memory.

I will definitely be back to Croatia, next time I would like to go by boat and sail around all the big islands, stoping off at Brac, Mljet, Pag and Vis.
